In accordance with 2025 global standards, we only collect data necessary for the app's function:
- Identifiers: Email address.
- Financial Characteristics: Age, Net Worth, Monthly Savings, Target Retirement Income, Social Security/Pension status and benefits.
- User-Defined Assumptions: Inflation rates and investment return percentages.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR/Global)
We process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contractual Necessity: To provide the retirement calculation service you requested.
- Consent: For sending calculation results and optional updates via email.
4. International Data Transfers
Important for non-US Users: Your information is transmitted to and stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the United States. By using the app, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to the US, which may have different data protection laws than your home country. We utilize Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and robust encryption to ensure your data remains protected.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data only as long as your account is active. You may exercise your "Right to be Forgotten" by selecting "Delete All My Information" in the app settings. This will trigger an immediate API request to purge your data from our AWS databases.
6. Regional Rights
EEA/UK (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, and the right to data portability.
California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not "sell" or "share" your personal information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising.
